Educational Assistant

We are now accepting applications for an Educational Assistant at Christ the King Academy a grades 5-8 school located in Brooks, Alberta. This is a temporary, full-time position, 30 hours per week on average which will continue until end of June 2025. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, caring, and committed to students with an openness to learning. Flexibility, patience, responsiveness, cooperation, and strong communication skills will lead to success in this role. Experience supporting students with complex learning profiles or experience in ESL certification is an asset. Additionally, some of the duties in this assignment may include providing support to the physical demands of a student (self-care, dressing, toileting, medical needs, etc.). Preference will be given to those with training and/or experience in Healthcare Aide. As a publicly funded Catholic School District, our schools and job locations are infused with the Catholic Faith.
