The EMILI Project schedule foresees production starting in 2028, with a production target of 34,000 tons of lithium hydroxide per year for at least 25 years.In 2022 and 2023, the project underwent a Scoping phase successfully and has entered into Pre-Feasibility Study / FEL 2 of the Commercial plant.In 2024 the Project intends to perform the FEL 2, FEL 3 and to start the Execution of the Pilot Plants.In 2024 & 2025, the Project intends to build and commission the Pilot Plants.In 2025, the Project intends to contract the Definitive Feasibility Study/FEL 3 and the Execution of the Commercial plant.KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES? Responsible for the cost control of the Project, in particular addressing potential overlaps/gaps between OPEX and CAPEX.? Set up and update relevant processes related to cost control for the project, and set up the architecture for cost gathering and control.? Propose organisation of IMERYS cost controlling team, regarding roles on the various construction sites, and/or requirements to Workstream leads for forecast update information;? Organise the process and collect cost data from relevant project resources, aggregate the figures and check the reliability of data to develop and maintain the project cost model for the different phases of the Project (Feasibility Study and Execution phases). As part of this role, drive familiarisation of all project contributors with respect to cost control and reporting;? Every month, update the Estimate at Completion, with inputs mainly from Workstream leads, Contract managers and Contractors teams to maintain a dynamic cost model file that can be used for various reporting activities, forecasts and cash call needs;? Every month, check consistency at project level with actual and committed costs logged into the SAP accounting system (WBS allocation, good receipts and invoice payments, amount and phasing vs. budget, derivation of accruals) in coordination with the Project Finance Manager;? Liaise with Workstream leads, Contract Managers and Project Risks Manager to update the Estimate at Completion considering possible variations/claims and risks vs. current authorized base case budget and contingency budget;? Based on inputs provided by Workstream leads and the Project Planning Manager, ensure that expected payment milestones have been achieved, that application for payment have been validated by Workstream leads;? Analyse deviations against the approved budget and maintain a bridge table explaining every variance;? Prepare the requested reporting elements, regarding costs (e.g. reporting of actual costs, committed costs and forecast vs. project budget)? Provide required information to the Project Finance Manager so that he can generate cash call forecasts and other tasks for which they need project costs information;? Control and validate contract signing sheets for WBS allocation and consistency with budget;JOB SPECIFICATIONS? Master in Business or Engineering with a Business component? Minimum 10 years of experience in scheduling for large complex projects (>500m€) on the Ownerside? Proven experience and good understanding of cost control software(s)? Advanced Excel skills? Preferably, have experience with SAP? Able to work in a French context (English is mandatory, French is a real plus)? Used to working in a multinational environment.?
