Quantity Surveyor

We are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor that will provide a leading role to support our projects and programmes with commercial aspects. Assist the commercial and operational team, where necessary, to implement work winning strategy at procurement stage Quantity Surveyor - Responsibilities (Duties): * Estimating Door & firestopping works * Processing Valuations for projects * Site visits * Client liaison for projects * Update Master library prices and adding new items * Assisting the team in accordance with delivery programme * Assist in the implementation of the Tender Event Schedule * Preparing Tender Documentation * Cost control and administration * Subcontractor management * Contract administration * Change Control * Budget Management * Accuracy of forecasting * Interface with project and onsite teams * Interface with finance and administration teams Quantity Surveyor??????? - Qualifications * Holding or working toward a construction commercial qualification (such as Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management) preferred * Knowledge/Experience: * Working in a finance or commercial function within the engineering or construction sector * Knowledge of finance systems * Cost and budget administration * Financial and commercial reporting * Good working knowledge of Microsoft excel Quantity Surveyor??????? - Benefits: * Death in Service * Cycle to work scheme * 20 days annual leave plus 1 day birthday leave every year. * Extra 1 day annual given for each year of service (up to 25)
