About the role As an SEN Teaching Assistant in the specialist resource provision, you'll play a pivotal role in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Collaborating closely with teachers and the school's SENCO, you'll contribute to developing personalized learning plans, tailoring support to cater to the specific needs of each student. Your daily responsibilities will include offering one-on-one assistance, supporting classroom activities, and promoting students' social and emotional growth. Requirements To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will: Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant is advantageous, but we welcome applicants with a passion for supporting students with diverse needs. Understanding of various special educational needs, such as PMLD, SEMH, ASC, ADHD, or challenging behaviour. Compassion, patience, and adaptability are essential qualities for success in this role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive connections with students and staff. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Experience working with either children or adults with additional needs Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
