Process Operative

An exciting opportunity has opened for a Process Operator at a company in Mildenhall! We are seeking a motivated individual to join the team, operating reactors and ancillary equipment for batch chemical manufacturing. This role involves ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This is a Full-time permanent position with a 4-day workweek with no weekend shifts. Rotating shifts: one week of 12-hour days followed by a week of nights, offering a balanced work-life schedule. Key Responsibilities: * Operate and manage equipment for batch chemical production. * Coordinate with the Production Shift Manager to ensure smooth workflow and timely resolution of any issues. * Handle the packing of powders and liquids into various containers, ensuring proper labelling and adherence to procedures. * Oversee the transfer of bulk materials, both raw and finished, between storage vessels and road tankers. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards. Ideal Candidate: * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. * GCSE or equivalent in Chemistry or related experience is desirable. * Background in manufacturing or a similar field is preferred. * Familiarity with COSHH and Health & Safety regulations is a plus. * Must have a valid driver’s license and forklift operation skills (license preferred).
