Recruitment Consultant – Social Care About the Company: Our client is a fast-growing recruitment agency in the UK, that supplies specialist social care staff at all levels across the UK. Their area of expertise is to recruit every grade of social worker and offer a tailored recruitment service from care assistants up to Chief Executives. Position Overview: The Recruitment Consultant in the health, social care, and education sectors is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and placing qualified social workers, healthcare assistants (HCAs), support workers, and educational staff into temporary and permanent roles within various institutions, including hospitals, clinics, social care settings, and educational facilities. This is a permanent, onsite position based in London. Key Responsibilities: * The Recruitment Consultant is responsible for identifying and attracting qualified or unqualified candidates within the healthcare sector such as social care professionals, healthcare assistants, support workers, and educational staff through various channels, including job boards, social media, referrals, and networking. * Manage a 360-recruitment process from client engagement to candidate placement. * Build and maintain strong relationships by building a new client base and leveraging existing ones. * Regularly communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction with the recruitment process and candidate performance. * Create and post job advertisements on relevant platforms tailored to health, social care, and education sectors. * Ensure all candidates meet regulatory and compliance requirements, including background checks, certifications, and licenses specific to the health, social care, and education sectors. * Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and clients. * Provide feedback and follow-up with candidates and clients post-interview. * Negotiate job offers and contracts between candidates and clients. * Stay informed about industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor activities within the health, social care, and education sectors. Requirements: * The Recruitment Consultant must have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in recruitment, specialising in recruitment of qualified Social Care (Social Workers) or unqualified Health and Social Care (HCAs, Support Workers, etc.) as well as Education. * Must have a strong understanding of the sector, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage the full lifecycle of the recruitment process. * Proven track record of managing a successful desk. * Ability to work independently in an onsite environment. * Understanding of the market, client needs, and job roles without detailed job descriptions. Ideal Candidate: * A self-motivated and experienced recruiter who knows their market inside out. * Strong work ethic, determination and desire to succeed and exceed targets * The Recruitment Consultant must have knowledge of certifications and licensing requirements in health, social care, and education.
