About You:

You are a talented professional looking for a career, not a job. In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager of People Development and Engagement. You’ll collaborate closely with the People and Culture team and have direct exposure to the Senior Vice President of People and Culture, Chief of Staff. This is an exceptional learning opportunity to gain valuable exposure to all HR functions of the business, and if you are a Rockstar, no project is off-limits.

Responsibilities

  • Employee Experience: As a company ambassador, ensure an exceptional employee experience throughout the onboarding process
  • Learning Experience Design: Support creation and implementation of learning materials (e.g., eLearning, videos, PowerPoints) aligned with organizational goals
  • Effective Training Delivery: Proficiently design and deliver virtual and in-office training sessions
  • Survey Management: Coordinate employee surveys, analyze results, compile reports for action items and add valuable input
  • Team Contributions: Contribute to employee engagement, performance management, diversity, inclusion initiatives and other ad hoc projects
  • Culture Promotion: Engage in cultural events to cultivate a positive work environment, including acting as a supporter or ambassador
  • Process Development: Ensure programs align with company policies and procedures and constantly seek trends and new initiatives
  • Evaluation and Adjustment: Regularly assess, maintain, update training effectiveness and adjust programs as needed
  • HRIS Collaboration: Work with the HRIS system (UKG) to access reports and build performance reviews


Requirements

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources, Training or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in training and development or a related field
  • Demonstrated advanced professional judgment, diplomacy, and relationship-building skills
  • Confident and comfortable in presentation skills and keeping a classroom motivated and engaged
  • Demonstrating advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is a must
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including creativity in content design
  • High level of discretion and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Experience in creating and crafting clear processes and procedures
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to make decisions within established procedures
  • Ability to work independently on complex tasks with some supervision
  • Ability to exercise discretion and sensitivity when needed
  • Proven ability to leverage HR systems for performance and succession management
