Job Description: As the Controller, you will play an integral role in managing the financial health of our client's company. This role requires a highly detail-oriented professional with significant experience in financial management for large-scale companies. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in auditing, financial reporting, and monthly closing processes, and will be capable of leading year-end close efforts with precision. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and comprehensive financial reporting. Ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and precise financial reporting. Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals. Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial policies, procedures, and internal controls. Provide strategic financial insights and support to senior management to inform business decisions. Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations and standards. Coordinate and manage external audits and liaise with auditors. Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with the VP of Finance on financial strategy and planning. Prepare detailed financial analysis and reports for executive management. Oversee cash flow management to ensure the company's financial stability. Manage relationships with financial institutions and vendors. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is required. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Controller in a company with annual revenues of $50 million or more. Extensive knowledge of financial reporting standards. Proven experience in auditing, financial reporting, and managing month-end and year-end close processes. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Effective leadership and team management abilities. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
