Construction Administrator required to join a tier 1 contractor in Bristol
The role is hybrid, approx. 50-50 between office and home working (after probation).
Occasional working from site is part of the job role
Job spec:
Sourcing items and supplies needed on construction sites.
Creating and filing purchase orders
Paying for small items and instructing accounts to purchase high-cost goods.
Utilising official company suppliers (such as Lyreco, Premier Inn).
Liaising with project coordinators, site managers and project managers to provide support and procure items.
Research and quote gathering.
Keeping records of consumables, and site-specific items. Utilising the company folder structure.
Providing construction-issued drawing to team members.
Recording deliveries, uploading delivery notes and invoices
Communicating with the accounts team for payment of suppliers
Hiring of plant, vehicles, and welfare facilities.
Setting up suppliers on Purchase Order System
Managing folder structure for various projects, including document control for a process known as ‘PAC’
Taking minutes during internal and external calls, held by project members and clients.
Salary: £26k
