Overview:
Our client is a growing professional services group, offering a unique blend of Corporate, Commercial, Property, and Employment Law, as well as HR & Business consultancy and Health & Safety services. They are seeking an Employment Lawyer based in the South East.
Experience managing a caseload of employment law including advising on settlement agreements, constructive, unfair and wrongful dismissal, redundancy, disciplinary and grievance procedures, managing sickness absence, discrimination, whistle blowing, ACAS early conciliation and Employment Tribunal proceedings. Together with writing contracts, policies and procedures for tailored company use.
The role will be mostly remote with a Salary up to £55,000. This brand-new role will play a significant part in their national expansion, focusing on both contentious and non-contentious work, primarily on the respondent side. It’s an exciting opportunity with clear career prospects.
Responsibilities:
Provide expert legal advice on both contentious and non-contentious employment law issues including:
Manage a significant volume of respondent work, often at a complex level, representing clients in employment disputes, together with employment contracts, policies and other documentation and procedures.
Offer practical and strategic support in navigating complex employment law matters.
Develop and deliver tailored solutions for clients facing employment-related challenges.
Ensure effective management and resolution of employment disputes in line with client objectives.
Requirements:
Qualified Employment Lawyer with experience in both contentious and non-contentious work. Minimum 3 years PQE.
A strong emphasis on respondent work.
Ability to identify main issues in dispute and carry out effective legal merits assessment.
Ability to work autonomously.
Proven ability to provide tailored solutions and to communicate the best approach in each situation.
Proven experience in providing advice in both contentious and non-contentious matters for both individual situations and internal projects for clients.
