Welder

Welder / Cell Operative / Aluminium Welder to join an fabrication company based in Farnborough.
The Welder / Cell Operative / Aluminium Welder will weld thin gauge aluminium. You will inspect your own work and pass to next stage as correct to drawing. They have several different types of metal and thickness gauge that will be on the daily production list.
The successful Welder / Cell Operative / Aluminium Welder will be able to weld thin gauge aluminium.
Package
£15.00ph - £17.50ph DOE
20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 08:00-16:45 & Friday 08:00-13:00.

Role Responsibility
You will also have experience of producing welding to customer specifications and drawing requirements and have the ability to read CAD drawings in order to produce parts to the highest specification.
Welding thin gauge aluminium
You will be working with have several different types of metal and thickness gauge that will be on the daily production list.
Use all provided safety equipment when handling potentially dangerous materials and work in a safe manner as to not pose a risk of injury to themselves or others.
Cell Operator should dispose of any hazardous substances/materials used in the correct controlled manner.
The operator shall maintain the welding sets and bench grinder and also control of gas and welding consumables.
Role Requirements
Previous experience as a Welder, Welding Technician, Welding Engineer, Fabricator, Cell Operative, Cell Operator, Cell Member, Cell Technician or Similar.
Must have experience welding thin gauge aluminium.
