YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Manager, Total Rewards, you will be part of the Corporate Human Resources Department. You will provide a high level of support in the areas of benefits and pension programs, international mobility, and compensation while ensuring that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

  • Key point of contact and support for Agnico HR teams and managers with respect to benefits and pension programs;
  • Develop communication tools to enhance employee understanding of the Company’s benefits and pension plans and organize employee education sessions;
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve issues;
  • Assist in the preparation of pension committee meetings, including research for agenda items and committee requests;
  • Act as the key point of contact to facilitate and support Agnico Eagle Mines HR teams and managers with respect to international mobility;
  • Coordinate the international mobility process which will include arranging tax couselling, drafting letters, tracking assignees and ensuring mobility policies are up-to date;
  • Provice executive compensation support which will involve supporting the Senior Director, People, with Executive compensation programs, including Board reporting, supplemental benefits programs, communications, etc.
  • Provide support to the Compensation team in annual processes such as year-end bonus/equipty process;
  • Manage access and transactions in the equity management system, including semi-annual audits;
  • Take on special projects which relate to overall HR integration, improvement of processes and programs and ensure alignment within a global organization.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industiral Relations or Psychology;
  • A minimum of three ot five years of experience related to compensation, benefits administration, pension adminsrtation and/or international mobility program administration;
  • English required, French is considered an asset;
  • Understanding of applicable government regulations, extensive knowledge of employee benefits plans, pension legislation and Employment Standards Acts;
  • Certified Human Resources Professional or Leader designation is considered an asset;
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel;
  • Proven commitment to health, safety and the environment;
  • Customer service focus with a high level of integrity and accountability

Your Work Schedule:

  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from our Corporate Office in Toronto, ON. Occasional visits to site may also be required.
