Your exceptional written and verbal communication skills will be utilised as you write and deliver bespoke training workshops.
You’ll build meaningful relationships through 121 coaching – aligning with each consultant to help them to achieve their goals.
You’ll manage stakeholders across the entire business – providing vital insight into consultant performance and making suggestions to improve results.
You’ll also play a significant role in the roll out of all Learning and Development initiatives and projects.
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others whilst simultaneously developing your training & coaching skills, working closely with the L&D Director. The role affords the opportunity for international travel and career progression.
On any given day you could be undertaking the following responsibilities…
* Training Programme Delivery: Deliver existing bespoke Hunter Philips sales training – including classroom based induction, trainee onboarding and the HP A-Z sales training programme to get consultants up and running.
* 121 Performance Coaching: Partner with consultants to identify blind spots and performance gaps. Support them in reaching their goals and overcoming their challenges. Help close deals, write pitches and overcome limiting beliefs.
* Call Coaching : Listen to client and candidate calls made by Hunter Philips consultants and identify skills gaps / opportunities to capitalise on. Share findings with consultants and support them in the creation and implementation of actions in order that they improve.
* Role Play: Undertake role plays with Hunter Philips in order that they practice their sales skills in a safe environment. Provide detailed feedback to both the consultant and their manager.
* Desk Management Support: troubleshoot live job opportunities and help consultants with strategies in order that they convert into revenue.
* Write & deliver bespoke sales training : As required by the business, write and deliver bespoke Recruitment Training.
* Develop and deliver persuasive 4i (Introduction, Information, Interest, Invitation) pitches to potential candidates, effectively presenting job opportunities and engaging candidates in further discussions.
* Deliver performance related feedback to both Managers and Consultants. Conduct structured 5 point calls with candidates to gather essential information, including availability, qualifications, preferences, motivations, and expectations.
* Maintain the L&D records for Consultants: update the training and coaching log of consultant cohort.
* Diary Management: Ensure that all training and coaching sessions are diarised and that training / coaching actions are sent after each session.

At Hunter Philips we look for the following skills and attributes in our Sales Trainer / Coach:
* Exceptional Communication – Both written and verbal.
* Proven recruitment experience – ideally within the Energy / Engineering industry and preferably at either an executive search level or low volume / high margin contract recruitment.
* Experience in coaching (&/or) training – preferable but not essential.
* Creative and Innovative – The ability to take a concept and turn it into a training workshop (full training will be provided in content creation.
* A genuine desire to support others – you’ll be a fantastic listener and youll encourage and empower people to be the best versions of themselves.
* Organised with good attention to detail.
* Trustworthy with the ability to build rapport and relationships at all levels of seniority.
* Degree qualified – preferable but not essential
