Structural Engineer

An innovative, technology driven, Structural Engineering Consultancy that operates across the UK, specialising in Structural Inspections, Surveys and Design are looking for a Structural Engineer with at least 2 years' experience to join work on a mix of Surveys and design work out of their Warrington office. They're looking for an experienced individual with experience in structural design of buildings and structural surveys of buildings. Structural Engineer Position Remuneration Salary: Up to £40K DOE Travel paid Pension 5% match 25 Days Holiday + BH Bonus Laptop / phone / IPad Health care membership, Home office equipment if needed Training and Great career prospect Flexitime and Hybrid working (37.5 hours a week) Structural Engineer Position Overview Inspection of all types of buildings and structures and the preparation of digital reports, live on site Preparation of specifications for remedial works Providing technical support for Buildings Insurance claims, including subsidence, fire and storm damage Completing site visits for residential and commercial building projects using digital technology Delivering small to medium design projects Delivering design calculations for buildings insurance claims, including subsidence, fire, impact, flooding and storm damage Reporting to the Managing Director and providing progress reports Developing new ideas to help shape the future of the business Structural Engineer Position Requirements Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering 2 years experience in structural surveys of buildings 2 years post graduate design experience A general understanding of building structures and materials including steel, masonry, concrete and timber Proficient in the use of AutoCad Working towards chartership - MICE or MIStructE Excellent communication skills, ensuring great customer service Excellent work ethic, willing to go above and beyond to support the company growth Passionate about new technologies, progressive change and continuous improvement Car owner and UK driving licence, able to travel to site Bennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
