Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for experienced and motivated technologists who possess a unique balance of technical depth, industry experience, and strong interpersonal skills. You will partner with some of the world's largest Automotive and Manufacturing companies to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.In collaboration with business development, solutions, and account teams, you will assist in driving growth across customers for strategic workloads. As a trusted customer advocate, the Industry Solutions Architect will help organizations understand best practices around line of business (LoB) cloud-based solutions and how to leverage cloud to deliver business outcomes. You will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to build mind share and broad use of AWS within enterprise customers.Key Job Responsibilities:Innovate and scale architectural best practices around building and operating Automotive and Manufacturing strategic workloads.Collaborate with customers, develop content, and enable the wider community to adopt the AWS portfolio of services and solutions for Automotive and Manufacturing customers.Enhance your knowledge around IoT, ML, Generative AI, Analytics, and leverage this expertise to guide customers.Share recommendations around security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency to accelerate key projects with our customers.Articulate customer needs by synthesizing observations from customer engagements and market trends.Implement or document cloud-native reference architectures for a variety of use cases.Qualifications:Experience in infrastructure and application architecture, DevOps, or software engineering.Technical experience within the Automotive or Manufacturing industry.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Automotive, Manufacturing or related field of study, or 8+ years of related work experience.You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.
