We have an exciting position for a dedicated SEN Teacher to step in for maternity cover, starting immediately. This role is set to continue until the Easter holidays in 2024, with a strong chance of extension. The Role: As an SEN Teacher in Harrow, you will be joining a well-established school that specialises in supporting children with severe learning difficulties (SLD) and Autism (ASD). This role is ideal for an SEN Teacher who has experience working with these specific needs, particularly with knowledge of Picture Exchange Communication (PECs), Intensive Interaction, Attention Autism, and Early Years, as many of the children have cognitive levels below 24 months. This Ofsted Outstanding-rated school in Harrow is equipped with excellent facilities designed to support the learning and development of its pupils, including personalised learning plans, sensory exploration areas, and a supportive multi-professional team. The school caters to children from early years up to the age of 11, providing a nurturing and inclusive environment that values the uniqueness of each child. Contract Details: Duration: September - Easter 2024 (with a strong possibility of extension) Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:45 AM - 3:45 PM Location: HarrowKey Responsibilities: As an SEN Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of each pupil. Collaborate closely with support staff and other professionals to ensure that every child's educational and emotional needs are fully met.
