Senior Warehouse Supervisor

Senior Warehouse Supervisor, Permanent, Grangemouth, Salary negotiable dependant on experience We are looking for an experienced Senior Warehouse Supervisor to work within our established warehouse & distribution team in Grangemouth. As a Senior Warehouse Supervisor you will be tasked with: Leading a team of approximately 8 warehouse operators to achieve the highest levels of despatch accuracy and customer satisfaction Providing effective motivation of the team directing work tasks and performance across all warehouse functions - accurate and efficient storage and distribution of goods, goods in, stock relocation, pick and despatch Managing the flow and quality of work to maximise efficiency across all functions Managing stock booking in and put aways for all inbound container deliveries Managing and stock booking out for outbound deliveries to Northern Ireland, Ireland and mainland EU including all related administration and associated documentation Ensuring accurate inventory control and space management; implementing processes and procedures to maintain required standards Managing individual attendance, timekeeping, sickness and holidays Managing performance, identifying training needs and implementing ongoing development plans for all team members Ensuring all Health & Safety protocols adhered to with regards to property and mechanical handling equipment; implementing remedial actions where necessary Ensuring all warehouse procedures adhered to at all times Ensuring the accurate and efficient despatch of goods on time and in full with required documentation provided at time of loading Assisting internal and external customers with any queries or concerns in a timely and efficient manner Managing relationships with external transport services ensuring seamless transport and logistics process Implementing stock movements in alignment with FIFO principles Contributing to the continuous improvement of the warehouse function for internal and external customers Maintaining housekeeping to 5S standards What you can expect: A permanent contract with a competitive salary A Monday to Friday role working day shift hours Investment in training & development Full uniform On site parking Access to Employee Assistance programme Access to employee discount schemes What we are looking for: A solid work history and an enthusiastic approach to work Experience of leading a team to deliver high standards of individual and team performance Clear and assertive communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders Ability to react to changing demands whilst maintaining adherence to all company processes and protocols Good system knowledge If you're interested in working for a well-respected business then we'd love to hear from you.
