Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Engineer with strong mechanical experience to join our client's manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production operations. Key Responsibilities: * Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment. * Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimise downtime. * Repair and replace defective parts using hand and power tools. * Collaborate with the production team to enhance equipment performance. * Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. * Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment. * Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in maintenance and repair. * Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication and teamwork abilities. * Flexibility to work various shifts and respond to emergencies as needed. Preferred Qualifications: * Relevant certifications or technical training in mechanical engineering or a related field. * Familiarity with PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics. * Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
