Relief Chef

Position: Relief Chef Location: Daventry- NN6 7FT Full time – Shifts will vary to accommodate business requirements so candidates will need to be flexible. Covering Holidays or sickness Salary: £14.00 per hour – 37.5 hours a week minimum = Annual Salary of £27,300 Our client is a leading multi-service provider in the Facilities Management sector. Resulting from continued growth they are now looking to recruit a Relief Chef to work in the Staff Restaurant across a large retail distribution depot in Daventry, NN6 7FT/ The staff restaurant caters for around (Apply online only) staff, so our client is looking for someone who has experience of high volume catering in a staff restaurant or similar environment. The role is permanent and is 37.5 hours a week. The role will be working 5 days out of 7, so candidates must be prepared to work some weekend shifts. The shifts vary, depending on cover needs. Key Responsibilities Include: - * Food preparation in-line with company recipes * Ordering of supplies, storage & stock control * Working as part of a catering team * Review special dietary needs, as required * Develop & maintain positive customer & client relationships * Manage & control budgets Candidates who have experience in a retail staff restaurant or similar environment as a Chef would be ideal for this role. Really looking for Chef who has experience of cooking for high volumes / numbers. An immediate start is available, are client are looking for someone who is available to start ASAP. Ideally candidates will drive and have their own transport as the location might not be great for public transport for early starts.
