Program Manager
Apex Systems is a global IT services provider, and our staffing practice has an opening for a Program Manager with 3+ yrs experience, a background in Java and Python, strong history using PowerBI and a history of ETL and Data Management to place at our partner a large organization that operates under a shared service model , a Big Five Tech Giant.
Client: Big Five Tech Giant, a multinational technology corporation
Terms: 12-month contract, possible extension
Location: Toronto, Remote

Responsibilities:

• The team is responsible for deploying AI GPU’s to in Data Center Operations
• Develop and maintain automated reporting systems using Java and Python scripts.
• Design, implement, and manage data pipelines for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Create and update Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and automate manual tasks and processes.
• Perform data analysis and troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy and integrity in automated reports.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for automation tasks.
• Document automation processes, scripts, and workflows for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in automation, reporting, and data analytics.
• Provide technical support and training to team members on automated systems and tools.
• Continuously monitor and improve existing automation processes to enhance performance and efficiency.

Must Have Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Java and Python Programming: Strong coding skills in Java and Python for developing automation scripts and applications.
• Experience with Power BI: Expertise in creating, managing, and optimizing Power BI reports and dashboards for data visualization and business intelligence.
• ETL and Data Management: Skilled in designing and implementing data pipelines for ETL processes to ensure accurate and efficient data flow and transformation.
• Strong knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.

Soft Skills:

• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
