This multi-faceted local company has under gone sustainable growth, year on year - employing 140 people across 3 sites. To ensure they meet their growth plans, they are intent on procuring the best Test Technician. Previous experience of production testing and fault finding in a manufacturing environment, or previous experience in a PCB testing environment would be advantageous for this role.
The successful Test Technician will be primarily responsible for:
• Functional testing and programming of new and existing products to meet customer requirements, as well as monitoring and identifying failure modes, providing feedback to the Production Manager/Engineer.
• Building assemblies using bench top test equipment, following supplied instructions or drawings.
• Setup and strip down of ATE test racks for various board types.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations whilst ensuring the Health & Safety of your work colleagues.
• Assist in the training of team members to maintain the best standards.
We are looking to connect with anyone who has a keen interest in output focus and performance improvement, with the ability to problem solve within a team, using technical expertise. It is essential that the successful applicant has experience in:
• Hand Soldering
• Accurate record keeping
• Knowledge of standard test equipment, such as oscilloscopes
• Ability to use computers and softwares confidently
• Being able to work well within the team and maintaining positive relationships with different departments
In return for their loyalty the Test Technician will be offered:
• £24,200 per annum, which will increase after the completion of probation.
• Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00 and Friday 08:30 - 15:30
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
• On site free parking
• Annual profit share bonus
• Subsidised snacks
• Ongoing training and development
