Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to fill a rewarding position with one of the UK's leading textiles producers, who produce for some of the nations most loved home brands. The role is Mon-Fri, working on a 3-shift rotating pattern (6am-2pm/2pm-10pm/10pm-6am). The primary responsibility is to assist the team in the reduction of downtime, ensuring engineering problems are resolved to keep production moving. As a night's maintenance engineer, you will play an integral part in ensuring production hours are maximises to help the company continue its growth. Who This Job Would Suit: This role is ideal for a seasoned Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with at least two years of experience in technical or engineering roles within a manufacturing environment. Candidates should be comfortable working in fast-paced environments, possess strong diagnostic skills, and have a hands-on approach to problem-solving. Experience in the textiles industry is preferred but not essential. Key Responsibilities: Working as part of a team to maintain and repair machinery. Conduct preventive maintenance and rectify minor issues. Improve machine cleanliness and reduce maintenance time. Lubricate textile equipment and ensure proper functioning.
