About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Mayfair within the Culinary Department in London, the Chef De Partie is responsible forfor the smooth running of Culinary outlets and providing hotel guests request.The Chef De Partie reports to the Sous Chef.

As Chef De Partie, you willresponsiblefor the following duties:

  • Being fully aware of all menu items, their recipes, method of production and presentation standards

  • Executing all food items with standard recipe and plating guide as devised by Sous Chef or Head Chef.

  • Ensuring that station opening and closing procedures are carried out to standard

  • Preparing, and when required, delegating the production of the necessary food items in accordance with standards in a timely & efficient fashion to ensure that there is no interruption to guests service.

AsChef De Partieweexpectfrom you:

  • you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 40 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning, evening, and night shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.
