Solutions Architect

Hybrid - One day per week, you must start on-site.We seek a highly skilled and experienced Solutions Architect (Talend) who can be pivotal in driving the technology strategy and architectural vision for our platform engineering initiatives. This role will require a seasoned expert with substantial experience in platform engineering, enterprise and solution architecture, and modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, DevSecOps, and contemporary architecture delivery. The ideal candidate will possess technical acumen, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to foster relationships and mentor engineering and architecture teams.Responsibilities: Platform Engineering Architecture: Lead and design robust, scalable, and secure platform architectures that align with business goals and technical requirements.Enterprise & Solution Architecture: Deliver comprehensive solution architectures and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and practices.CI/CD & DevSecOps: Implement and advocate for continuous integration, deployment, and DevSecOps practices to improve development and operational efficiency.Modern Architecture Practice: Drive the adoption of modern architecture practices and tools, ensuring best practices in microservices, containerization, and cloud-native architectures.Engineering Leadership: Provide technical leadership and engineering expertise to program and project teams, ensuring architectural integrity and quality.Communication & Presentation: Develop compelling presentations to convey architectural concepts, strategies, and roadmaps to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Relationship Building: To ensure collaboration and alignment and foster strong relationships with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners.Mentorship: Mentor and guide engineering and architecture teams, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Embedded Leadership: Participate in program and project teams to provide hands-on architectural leadership and guidance.Requirements:Proven experience as a Platform Engineering Architect or similar role.Extensive experience in enterprise and solution architecture delivery.Strong background in CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and modern engineering methodologies.Demonstrated experience in modern architecture practices, including microservices, containerization, and cloud-native solutions.Strong engineering background with hands-on experience in software development and system architecture.Experience in mentoring and leading technical teams.
