Job Specification: Groundworker Location: Southall, London (UB1) Type: Full-Time, Ongoing Work Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Salary: £16.00 - £18.00 Job Description: Swanstaff are seeking a skilled and experienced Groundworker to join our client in Southall. This is an ongoing position offering stable and consistent work for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be responsible for various groundworks tasks, ensuring all projects are completed to the highest standards. Responsibilities: * Perform all aspects of groundworks including block brickwork and reinforcing. * Prepare and lay foundations, drainage systems, and other groundwork structures. * Construct and repair block brickwork and reinforced structures. * Operate and maintain tools and machinery related to groundworks. * Follow project plans and blueprints accurately. * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. * Work collaboratively with the team to ensure project deadlines are met. * Report any issues or potential delays to the site manager. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Groundworker, specifically in block brickwork or reinforcing. * Knowledge of construction site health and safety practices. * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. * Proficient in using relevant tools and machinery. * Strong physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions. * Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. * CSCS card If you would like to be considered please apply with your CV
