Electrical Maintenance / Projects Technician (Rotating shift)

Position: Electrical Technician Location: Liskeard, Cornwall About Us: We are seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Technician to join our dynamic Maintenance and Projects Team in Liskeard, Cornwall. Key Responsibilities: * Conducting fault finding on various types of machinery control systems. * Proficiency in motor drive systems, encompassing AC and DC systems up to 390kw. * Installation of machinery and services with a focus on electrical systems. * Conducting electrical testing, instrumentation, and calibration. * Demonstrating a thorough understanding of the IEE and Electricity at Work Regulations. * Sound knowledge of electrical safety systems and their integration with control systems. * Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Electrical Regulations, with a willingness to undertake the 18th Edition update if necessary. Requirements: * Completion of a recognized apprenticeship. * Several years of experience in an industrial production environment. * Qualification to City & Guilds / B-Tec L3 / NVQ L3 or equivalent, with a minimum of 10 years of experience, or HNC with a minimum of 5 years of experience. * Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic control systems (Desirable). * Additional qualifications in Instrumentation and Control Engineering with suitable experience will be considered. * Knowledge of PLC systems (Desirable). Shift Pattern: * Week 1: * Monday to Thursday: 06:00 – 13:15 * Friday: 06:00 – 14:00 * Week 2: * Monday to Thursday: 13:00 – 22:15 Salary: £35,000 - £39,000 dependent on experience.
