Pipe Fitter/ Gas Technician

Job Description

• Install, inspect, repair and maintain gas lines and gas equipment such as meters, regulators and heating units/burners.
• Install, repair, and maintain piping systems, fixtures and other plumbing equipment used for water distribution, drainage and waste disposal.
• Lays out, assembles, installs, maintains and repairs piping, fixtures and other components for the supply or disposal of water for any domestic or industrial purpose.
• Installs the piping for any process or any tubing for a pneumatic or air-handling system.
• Reads and understands basic design drawings, manufacturers’ literature, and installation diagrams for piping and appliances.

Qualifications

• Gas License and Gas License Class 1 will be considered as asset.
• Plumber
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Industrial Plumbing experience considered as asset
• Applicant(s) must be physically fit and be able to withstand vertical heights.
• May be required to pass a specific medical examination related to the physical requirements of the position before being accepted.

Additional Information

• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday: 6 am to 2 pm
• Must be available in case of emergency
• Hourly Wage: 41.99$
