About the role: We are seeking a passionate KS1 Teacher for a part-time position starting ASAP in our vibrant Brent primary school. This role has become available due to a new addition to our team, and we encourage early applications to secure an interview. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse class, including students with varying needs, supported by teaching assistants to ensure a nurturing learning environment. Application Requirements: • Experience: At least two years of classroom experience in primary education • Subject Knowledge: Strong background in teaching core subjects, particularly English and Mathematics • SEN Experience: Experience working with SEN students is highly valued • Skills: Excellent social and emotional skills to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues Key Responsibilities: • Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners, fostering a love for learning in core subjects, especially English and Mathematics. • Support Student Development: Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing timely feedback and support to encourage academic and social growth. • Create an Inclusive Environment: Implement strategies to support students with varying needs, including those with SEN, ensuring all children feel included and valued in the classroom. • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff members to create a cohesive team approach to education and ensure effective classroom management.
