Job Opportunity: Teaching Assistants needed in Newham! Are you ready for an exciting and rewarding new challenge? Principal are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to work full-time, five days a week, with students who face behavioural difficulties. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with emotional and behavioural disorders, SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) difficulties, and other challenging behaviours. What We're Looking For: We are searching for resilient, proactive individuals who have the ability to inspire and support students, helping them achieve outstanding outcomes. If you have experience working with children with SEMH or managing challenging behaviours, we want to hear from you! Key Requirements: Excellent Communication Skills: You’ll need to be a strong communicator, using initiative to handle various situations, and remain calm under pressure. Experience: Recent experience working with children with SEMH or managing challenging behaviour in both group settings and on a 1:1 basis. Clear Enhanced DBS: You must have a Clear Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce/Child and Adult Workforce) registered to the Update Service. If you don’t have a DBS, we can help you apply.
