Operations Manager

Operations Manager – Mobile Division £70,000 + Package    A national Plant Hire company are looking for an Operations Manager to run their Fleet Mobile Team.  This organisation prides themselves on being an all-in-one, go-to destination for vehicle and plant repairs & maintenance offering tailor-made solutions for several happy clients.  If you’re someone who has good communication skills and feel you could handle the responsibilities of your own division then this could be the role for you!    Main Responsibilities Operational Oversight: Report directly to the CEO on operational performance, contractual compliance, business growth, and profitability. Team Management:Oversee managers, supervisors, and field engineers to deliver exemplary service.  Implement and set performance targets for management and work collaboratively across different internal departments to ensure KPIs are monitored and met. Leadership & Development:Lead and develop teams to enhance business capability, skills, morale, and motivation across all operations. Resource Management:Manage staffing resources, recruitment, discipline, and financial processes within budgets to maintain output performance and profitability. Planning & Scheduling: Plan, schedule, and review workloads and staffing to ensure cost-effective achievement of contractual KPIs and deadlines. Budgeting & Forecasting:Prepare budgets and forecasts to balance workloads and avoid waste. Finance:Work with the Financial team to ensure budgets are managed and monitored effectively. Compliance & Standards:Work with the Technical Director to maintain high levels of health and safety, quality assurance, and environmental compliance across all operations. Client Relations:Represent the company to maintain strong client and customer relationships. Working with the Service Director to develop strong working relationships with existing clients as well as proactively seek new business opportunities.    This role would suit someone who has previous experience overseeing a mobile team so if you’re interested please apply below
