HEAD OF FINANCE (PART-TIME) - UP TO 20 HOURS PER WEEK SPLIT ACROSS 4 OR 5 DAYS - HYBRID OR HOME BASED POSITION (SOME LONDON TRAVEL REQUIRED) - UP TO £85,000 (FTE) + BENEFITS Carlton Young specialise in the recruitment of Accountancy & Finance professionals within the Dorset & Hampshire region. Set up utilising the skills of a highly experienced recruiter and a fully qualified chartered accountant, we have both the recruitment skills and industry know-how to be able to bring applicants and businesses together. We are supporting a fast-growing IT service based business who, following a recent investment, are looking to introduce a Head of Finance into their business, initially on a part-time basis, working up to 20 hours a week across a 4-day working week. The company, with offices in South West London, are keen to employ someone who possesses full Accountancy qualifications (ACCA, ACA, CIMA etc) and has a track record on the Financial Planning & Analysis side. You will: * Lead the Finance side of the business, managing a small team and ensuring accurate recording of information * Report directly to the owners of the business and ensure you provide them with accurate figures and analysis of market trends * Carry out monthly management accounts and work closely with the finance team at the parent company and the existing external accountancy practice * Review company objectives and assist in ensuring full financial controls are in place for a programme of planned growth and development The company currently have annual revenues of circa £2m and are well situated in their current market for further expansion, they are looking for someone who: * Has excellent analytical skills combined with proven commercial acumen * Able to react and be flexible with changing priorities * Proven leadership skills * Comfortable at communication across multiple platforms and able to report information accurately and in a time-controlled manner * Experience at scaling-up SME businesses, ideally in the technology sector * Able to assist on non-financial business, when required, including but not limited to grant applications and R&D claims In return for your support, the company are offering a full-time salary of £85,000 (pro-rata for the contracted hours), flexible working pattern, home working (with some travel required to their London based office If you're ready to take the next step in your finance career and become an integral part of a fast-growing business, send across your current CV for consideration.
