A Consultant would have a few years of experience working in a management consultancy with proven ability to own and be responsible for project deliverables within the financial services sector. Today, the payment industry is undergoing change and disruption due to exciting changes in shopper behaviour, advances in the development of new technologies, new entrants with innovative solutions, and regulatory changes leading to new challenges and opportunities for our clients.Your ResponsibilitiesAs a consultant, you will contribute actively to international projects and work closely with other consultants, business analysts and partners from different EDC offices. You will already have previous knowledge of the payment industry, experience in consulting and your responsibilities will include:Research and keep abreast of trends and developments within the payments industry and our clients’ portfolioCreate financial management models and business casesDevelop creative approaches to data gatheringApply analytical tools and techniques to solve complex problemsConduct detailed analyses, draw conclusions and assess implicationsDevelop written analyses and reports related to each project engagementWrite articles on EDC perspectives of industry trends impacting our clientsMaintain and cultivate client relationshipsRequirements and SkillsAn undergraduate degree with distinction (at least a 2:1 or honors) or graduate degree (MBA or related Masters) from a top-tier universityFrom 2 to 3 years professional experience minimum in a global financial services consultancy and/or in a payments-related companyFluency in English, both written and oral is required with strong presentation and communication skills (you will regularly speak with high-level executives)A second language (such as French, Spanish, Italian, German)at a level of business conversation would be an advantageExperience working in small teams and with little supervisionExcellent project management; ability to do what it takes to adhere to milestone timingExcellent analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and high-quality standardsAbility to multi-task and prioritise workloadStrong knowledge and interest in the payments industry, including credit and debit cards, private label credit cards, ACH - instant payments, SEPA, the second European Payments Services Directive (PSD2) and other related regulations, including PCI DSS, EMV, etc.Robust experience of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Opportunity at Edgar, Dunn & CompanyComprehensive benefits package including private healthcare and pensionBeing part of an entrepreneurial, employee-owned firm and international-minded firm that is continuing to expand globallyBeing an integral part of a small team driving revenue to the FirmDirect and frequent interactions with clients and other providers in payments and financial servicesThe ability to learn a fast-paced and changing industryOpportunity to make a meaningful and immediate impact to the organisationOpportunity to become involved in other aspects of the Firm’s business activitiesEnvironment that recognises work/life balanceOtherThe position is open to European Citizens or permanent EU residents onlyEdgar, Dunn & Company is an equal opportunity employer First Name Last Name Email Address Upload your CV and cover letter We support DOCX & PDFs Thanks for completing the form.
