R&D Technologist

Science Solutions are looking to recruit an R&D Technologist on behalf of one of our clients based in the Southwest of Lancashire. As an R&D Technologist, you will be responsible in assisting the team in the manufacturing of glass for various applications. To be considered for the role of R&D Technologist you must be degree educated in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science or a similar scientific subject. Role requirements Degree educated as a minimum in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science or a similar scientific field. 3+ years industrial experience in an R&D environment. Any experience in the manufacturing of Glass is highly desirable. Previous experience in managing your own projects also highly desirable. Role responsibilities Assist the team daily in the manufacturing of glass for various applications. Manage your own projects and workload daily whilst also assisting other members of the team in their own projects. Achieve manufacturing excellence whilst monitoring decarbonisation within the lab
