Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Full Time Nights at Sun Rivers

*CareCorp at Sun Rivers is hiring for LPNs at our new 100 bed long term care facility.*

CareCorp Senior Services are a trusted company who provide superior healthcare, food and support services to long-term care and assisted living facilities across BC.

*Location: *580 Shuswap Road, Kamloops BC *Compensation: *Starting at *$32.84 per hour plus benefits.*

*Schedules: 2300-0700 4on, 2 off rotation*

*Responsibilities* * Performs assessments. * Plans, implements, and provides personal and nursing care to residents. * Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures * Directly supervises care staff to meet resident's needs. * Performs other duties as assigned.

*Qualifications* * Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program. * Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC. * Current CPR and First Aid certification. * Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. * Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred). * Cultural education and experience are preferred.

*For eligible applicants, this position will qualify for Status tax exemption.*
