About Our Client:Our client is seeking a professional Canadian Tax Manager with background working within the Canadian tax function of a large corporation or a public accounting firm.ResponsibilitiesOrganize Canadian federal and provincial corporate income tax returns and tax compliance filingsManage tax accounting workbooksConnect with Canada Revenue Agency and provincial tax authorities regarding audits, notices of assessment, and information inquiries Follow tax standards and complianceSupport integration of Canadian acquisitions and work with seller’s representativesSource Canadian corporate tax trends Perform other related tasks as requiredQualificationsMinimum 5+ years of experience working within Canadian tax function of a large corporation or a public accounting firmBachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or FinanceProfessional Designation CPAEnrollment / partial completion of the CPA In-depth Tax courseBackground working with tax preparation software such as Corporate TaxPrepExcellent time and stress managementAbility to work both independently and as a team. Advanced Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and ExcelBilingualism (asset)
