Job Requirements / Description
We are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a small but growing UK wide organisation, this role will be joining the team at their head office, and will require someone with previous purchase ledger experience, the role is due to a retirement so looking for someone for a handover period. We will look at people from outside the construction industry, someone from Engineering, Oil & Gas, Building Services or Facilities Management. Also will consider someone on a part time basis three or 4 days per week. The role is working on the accounts of a busy organisation, responsible for the complete, accurate and efficient provision of financial and accounting support to the business and wider team. Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities Inputting Purchase Ledger invoices. Checking of statements for completeness of invoicing. Communicating with Suppliers/Regional teams on queries with invoicing. Co-ordinating the production of BACS runs - checking invoices for payment Any other ad hoc duties as required. Key Requirements Good, clear communication skills in both verbal and written forms. A very high degree of accuracy. Good experience in using excel. Works well on their own as well as in a team. This role would suit someone who is looking for a purchase ledger role and to take full accountability for the business's accounts alongside the Financial Manager.
