We have an exciting opportunity at our new city centre site, City Campus Manchester to join our Creative Industries team as Head of Department (Visual Arts) on a permanent, full time (35 hours per week) basis. The Department is thriving in the provision of 16-18 and adult curriculum and benefits from an established and skilled team of teachers and technicians. As a Head of Department, you will report to the Assistant Principal in the management and operation of the Department. You will work with the Assistant Principal to effectively manage and deploy budgets and resources. You will be responsible for the direct line management of teaching and support staff to ensure delivery of an outstanding quality focused education. You will be required to deliver and promote high quality, student focused teaching and learning. To be successful in this role, you will need: Degree Level Qualification or relevant industrial experience or professional qualification within the Specialist area of Design and Visual Arts. Recognised teaching qualification. Qualified to deliver curriculum, internally verify, and moderate qualifications awards.
