Description : Job Posting The Client Relationship Associate (CRA) provides Business and Relationship Management as well as planning support to one or more Portfolio Managers (PM). The CRA will better enable PMs to deliver on PIC strategic priorities though effective practices that focus on business management, client relationships and investment wealth planning (IWP). KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES CUSTOMER Develop relationships with existing clients and external referral sources to build sales and market share and working with other TD Canada Trust and TD Wealth partners Participate in client meetings and the IWP Process Support a legendary client experience by ensuring clients are matched with the most appropriate Wealth products and services in a consistent and expedient manner Act as a secondary contact to the PIC PM for client relationships Partner with the PM to deliver the best plan for the client Identify and coordinate client segmentation of the PM's book with the CSA Assist PM in creating integrated and customized solutions based on the client's unique needs Improve client retention and loyalty by contributing to improving the branch CEI/LEI scores Establish and maintain relationships with your PM's assigned Bank Branches Identify possible referral opportunities from existing PIC clients to TDCT and other wealth considerations Complete familiarity and adherence to privacy and confidentiality requirements and the need to handle situations with tact and discretion Act in a courteous and professional manner SHAREHOLDER Adhere to all compliance requirements as outlined in PIC’s policies and procedures. This includes all aspects of new and existing account documentation and marketing materials. Support Branch audit by preparing for it and to ensure a successful one for the branch Identify risks to the business and develop plan to mitigate them as appropriate Various duties in relation to all areas of the wealth management business, from maintaining and sorting databases of client information, to staying up-to-date and gathering research on securities and market developments, to preparing client proposals; Identify efficiencies and areas for improvement by leveraging firm and team developed business processes Be knowledgeable of and comply with TD Bank/industry service standards, policies/procedures/controls, codes and guidelines of conduct/privacy codes/securities laws and regulations and maintain high ethical standards Maintain product expertise in TDAM solutions Maintain accurate CRM information of clients and ensure necessary due diligence to support the accuracy of all client KYC information Promote the "One TD" vision and focus on consolidating existing client assets and I creasing new external client relationships to improve wealth volumes Plan regular client seminars/events that align with PM's business strategy Monitor service, productivity and assess efficiency levels within own function and implement continuous process / performance improvements where opportunities exists EMPLOYEE / TEAM Meet professional and personal development objectives by utilizing the CSA/CRA online Training Catalogue Primary liaison with other TDBG partners and external professionals for administrative purposes Maintain a level of expertise in dealing with the back office in relation to transfers, account openings, etc. Attend and participate in CSA/CRA conference calls coordinated by National Office, as required Be flexible in adjusting to changing priorities Contribute to a positive work environment and improve team dynamics while assisting with client events and office functions Take initiative to share new ideas for improved overall department efficiency Maintain a working knowledge of securities and financial services industry through continuing education Participate in personal performance management and development activities, including cross training within own team BREADTH & DEPTH Professional role with a focus on providing functional specialized business services, advisory or process / program support for own area of specialty, within defined parameters Requires sound conceptual knowledge in their own field of specialty Typically no supervisory accountability but may provide informal guidance to others Investigates and analyses potential solutions; ensures processes and functional programs are implemented Executes on work with some complexity; generally requiring short to medium-term focus (weekly-monthly) Accountable for own work and effective coordination of processes and information across related teams Delivers on assigned initiatives / projects /programs with some direction from management Reports to the Manager of Client Service EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION Desirable: Undergraduate Degree or Community College Diploma Completion of CIM or CFA Level 1 or higher would be considered an asset Who We Are: TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
