Class 1 Drivers for immediate start
 
Rapier Employment Ltd is currently hiring a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver for DHL in Wellingborough.
 
Work: Trunking and store delivery
Schedule: Monday – Friday (Guaranteed 5 days of work)
Overtime: Paid at weekends (Saturday: £18.52/hour, Sunday: £19.52/hour)
 
AM Shift: £16.52/hour (04:00 – 07:00 start window)
PM Shift: £17.52/hour (14:00 start time)
Night Shift: £17.52/hour (18:00 – 19:00 start window)
 
The ideal candidate will have a valid HGV Class 1 license, relevant experience in driving heavy goods vehicles, and a good understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
 
Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Class 1 vehicles for trunking routes
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure secure and timely delivery of cargo
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies as well as company policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork

 
Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Class 1 Driver
• Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license
• No more than six penalty points on licence and no major endorsement codes
• In-date CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
• Digital Tachograph Card
• A good understanding of Drivers hours, Regulations, and Working time directive
