Infotek Consulting is searching for an IT Recruiting Officer to join our team located at Bay/Bloor - this is an entry level position:Job Description:Infotek Consulting Services Inc. is a Toronto based Information Technology consulting company that is currently in the process of expanding its team.In this exciting position, you will be responsible for recruitment of IT professionals of all kinds. You will be in constant recruitment mode for all 500 fortune companies in North AmericaResponsibilities;· Full-Cycle Recruitment, Direct-Recruitment, Performance-Based Hiring and Interviewing, Negotiating, Sourcing Nationally, Recruiting, Contract, Head-hunting, Research, Find, Build relationships, Networking Updating Databases· On boarding, orientation, integration and negotiation of rate and terms of agreement.· Learning & understanding applicants’ career goals and key accomplishments to assist in placing them in roles which with enhance their careers· Coordinate interviews between employers and candidates· Communicating with Vendor Management personnel and able to build a strong rapport· Development of sales strategy, business development and acquisition· Perform background and reference checks as required by our client· Developing and maintaining a personal portfolio of client’s accounts· Searching for potential candidates via recruiting, advertising and networking· Pre-screen candidates based on employers requirements and specifications as well as ascertain their presentation and communication skills· Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with a knack for negotiating· Exceptional professional mannerism - in person, on the phone, and in email· Must enjoy interacting with people on all levels· A proactive temperament combined with strong work ethic and self-discipline· Ability to plan, organize and establish priorities to meet goals and achieve results· Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit· Compensation for this opportunity includes a competitive base salary, benefits, commission· Training will be provided
