About the role We are looking for enthusiastic and driven individuals to join our team as Trainee Teaching Assistants in primary schools across Barking and Dagenham. This role is perfect for recent graduates who are passionate about education and eager to gain hands-on experience in a vibrant and supportive school setting. As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support the educational and social development of students. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the delivery of lessons, working with small groups or individual students, and helping to create a positive, engaging learning environment. You will also contribute to classroom management, lesson preparation, and the assessment of student progress. Requirements To be considered for the role of Trainee Teaching Assistant you will: A degree in a core subject (English, Mathematics, Science) is highly desirable A genuine enthusiasm for working with children and supporting their educational journey Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to work well in a team environment A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
