EICA Technician (Water Treatment) - Hampshire & West Sussex Do you have a passion for keeping the water flowing? Are you an expert in electrical, instrumentation, control and automation (EICA) systems? If so, we want to hear from you! Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated EICA Technician to join their team and play a vital role in maintaining water treatment works, reservoirs, and booster stations across Hampshire and West Sussex. What you'll be doing: Maintain, diagnose, repair, test, and inspect a wide range of EICA equipment, including instrumentation, control systems, SCADA systems, telemetry equipment, and more. Ensure all equipment complies with planned maintenance schedules. Respond to breakdowns, troubleshoot complex system faults, and carry out repairs. Visit our sites to monitor asset performance, collect data, and ensure optimal operability. Supervise team members and contribute to their development and learning. Collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments, including plant operators. Maintain accurate and timely documentation to ensure adherence to internal change control standards. What you'll bring: A recognised apprenticeship in a relevant field (e.g., electrical, instrumentation). An HNC/HND in electrical and/or electronic engineering (or equivalent). BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification. Proven experience working in a process or industrial environment. A strong track record of diagnosing and remediating complex system faults. Experience working with PLC, SCADA, and telemetry software packages. Knowledge of OT communications protocols. Proficiency in working from electrical drawings. A good understanding of water treatment processes (a plus). A full UK driving licence (required to undertake our driver assessment).
