The Region Sales Manager will lead efforts to grow sales and profitability in the assigned region, while providing consistent product, program and marketing execution and support in the field. This teammate will also be responsible for reviewing key performance metrics, identifying industry trends and capitalizing on opportunities for growth both with our current customer base, and new customers.ResponsibilitiesProactively identifying, qualifying, closing and growing new accounts.Acting as a key point of contact for strategic retailers, while providing leadership direction for our Area Sales Managers to execute sales driving programs effectively and efficiently in market.Focused leadership on driving market share growth in premium categories.Developing and delivering product demonstrations, marketing opportunities & program support.Stewarding and expanding existing Bridgestone business.Developing and supporting a high-potential sales team of 2 to 4 individuals: recognizing training opportunities, identifying strategic opportunities and supporting tactical execution, and supporting "Core" Bridgestone sales strategies and programs.Forecasting product needs and sharing market trends.Encouraging career development for your teammates, preparing them for future roles within Bridgestone.Exercising strong enterprise decision making, finding creative ways to support the customer while increasing profitability for Bridgestone.Serving the customer and your teammates with excellence through relationships.QualificationsBachelor’s degree.Legal ability to travel within the territory and to the US for meetings (approx. 50-75%).5+ years of sales experience. Successfully closing new business while growing and renewing existing customer base.5+ years of management preferred but not required.Maintain an innovative attitude while creating strategies for existing customer growth and new lead generation.Ability to understand your customer, develop region strategies, execute and monitor.Flexibility to evolve quickly as needed for sustainable growth.Proven ability to conduct high level conversations with decision makers.Display personal integrity that allows you to rise above your competition.Lead the team with honesty, excellence, discipline and accountability.Territory: Ontario and Western Canada – incumbent to be located in the GTA.Additional Preferred Skills and Experience Include:Extensive knowledge of the tire industry and competitive products.Experience in the retail tire business, customer facing preferred.French language skills an asset.Bridgestone Canada Inc. and its various divisions are committed to ensuring that people with disabilities have the same opportunity of access to employment opportunities and related services as do all prospective teammates.
