Are you immediately available and happy to take on a temporary contract? Are you able to process contaminated instruments? We are working with a private health care group whom require a Sterile Services Technician to join them on a temporary contract. Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm OR Night time shifts - Operate and maintain sterilization equipment according to established protocols and procedures - Prepare and package instruments, equipment, and supplies for sterilization - Monitor and record sterilization cycles, including time, temperature, and pressure - Inspect instruments and equipment for cleanliness and functionality - Maintain accurate records of sterilization activities and inventory levels - Follow infection control guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper sterilization practices Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician or experience preferred - Knowledge of sterilization techniques, equipment, and supplies - Understanding of infection control principles and practices - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team We look forward to your application
