Join the Risk Management team within the Housing Programs sector, in the role of Senior Analyst, Risk. In this position, you will contribute to planning, conducting and reporting on risk assessments, quality assurance and compliance, within established time frames. You will communicate findings and make recommendations to management on actions to mitigate risks, ensure compliance and make risk-related improvements. Moreover, you will provide advice on the application of standards, regulations and policies as well as responds to client and stakeholder inquiries. This position has a duration of 24 months. What you'll do : Monitor and review key processes, practices and procedures, and ensure activities are in accordance with standards, regulations, guidelines and/or other requirements. Collect information, undertake analysis and identify risks and/or non-compliance. Make recommendations and/or prepare action plans to manage risks and ensure compliance. Contribute to / prepare reports for management on summary findings and recommendations. Support senior colleagues in the collection, analysis and synthesis of information from diverse sources and the communication of results. Provide advice to internal and/or external clients and stakeholders regarding risk and control matters, including the application of standards, regulations and/or policies, as well as take remediation to address risk and control issues. Ensure effective relationships with internal and/or external clients and stakeholders. Respond to internal and/or external client and stakeholder inquiries. What you should have: An undergraduate degree in a related field such as business, finance or economics. A minimum of three (3) years of prior relevant experience in risk management or underwriting loans, subsidies and/or contribution applications. Demonstrated knowledge of risk management, quality assurance and oversight. Sound judgment and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.. It would be great if you also had: A professional certification in a related field (ie. CPA, CFA, FRM).
