RF Design Engineer Toronto • Full-time

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic RF Design Engineer to join our Acentury team. This position is responsible for the full product development cycle of filter product (from product research/proposal to post-production) by providing technical support and resolving design issues; performing design simulations, design analysis and worst-case analysis; generating, reviewing and releasing general specifications and test reports. Mastering design technologies such as cavity, lumped element, waveguide, ceramic resonator or other relevant new technologies, the candidate will also be responsible for developing all various filter including band pass, diplexers and multiplexer in frequency range from 30MHz to mmWave range, according to product specifications, budget and project time line.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Candidates must be experienced with design of RF filters, simulation and analysis, S-parameters and impedance matching, RF test equipment and methodologies. Ex. HFSS, CST, ADS, MWO simulation tool and the analysis tool like the Matlab, python.
• Deep knowledge of various microwave filter synthesis and computer aided tuning techniques; antenna design experience is an asset
• Must have minimum 1 years for master degree or 2 years for bachelor degree of real design experience related to the industry product as well as strong written and verbal English communication skills;
• Strong professional experience in RF design and building for low cost production; Demonstrated ability to design RF filter products from 30 MHz to 6 GHz.
• Expert knowledge of RF engineering fundamentals and principles.
• Hands-on skills utilizing test equipment such as vector network analyzer, spectrum analyzer.
• Travel, support of projects across multiple time zones, sometimes the international travel may be required.

Salary: $50,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
