About the Role: Lead and Innovate: Oversee the booking and review of pre-shipment inspections, factory and social compliance audits, ensuring all related paperwork is flawless. Quality Champion: Evaluate labels, packaging, and instruction manuals to guarantee data accuracy and regulatory compliance. Documentation Expert: Prepare comprehensive documentation and product specifications based on technical insights. Legislation Guardian: Ensure supplier production methods comply with the latest legislative guidelines. Project Pioneer: Monitor and assist with exciting new product introduction projects and related activities. Data Specialist: Input crucial data for product quality, safety, and due diligence documentation. Verification Master: Analyse and verify third-party test and inspection documentation and certifications. Independent Achiever: Work autonomously, meeting rapidly changing deadlines and timescales. Information Conduit: Interpret and relay complex information to colleagues and suppliers seamlessly. Data Processor: Request and process technical and product-related data from buyers or suppliers. Team Connector: Liaise directly with buying teams, suppliers, other departments, and service providers. Compliance Enforcer: Review internal and external complaints, conducting compliance checks in line with company procedures. Data Analyst: Collate and analyse data and charts against defined parameters. Problem Solver: Proactively identify potential problems and propose commercially viable solutions.Knowledge and Skills: Organisational Wizard: Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills gained in a fast-paced commercial environment. Adaptable Thinker: Ability to react swiftly to changing requirements and pressures. Technical Savant: Demonstrable experience in mechanical or electro engineering, or expertise with hardlines or softlines. Tech-Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office packages. Communication Pro: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Quality Control Expert: Experience in quality control (QC). Risk Assessor: Understanding of the risk assessment process. Product Knowledge Guru: Broad understanding of product groups and manufacturing processes. Analytical Mind: Strong lateral, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Specification Specialist: Experience with specifications, drawings, and component-level problem-solving.
