Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:The Senior SAP Functional Consultant – Distribution and Transportation executes the design and deployment of SAP S4 Logistics solutions by participating with project and operational teams in aligning business needs with module and solution functions. You are actively involved in project phases and technological solution support. You will operate closely with business counterparts to design and create SAP solutions which will enable and improve business processes to facilitate business goals and strategies. Our operating environment is SAP S4/Hana Fashion and Vertical Business Solution which is connected to SAP EWM, CAR, IBP and ECC AFS.This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.Meet Your Future Team:The ERP and Business Applications department is comprised of a team of technical professionals and subject matter experts who know and understand the tools that we use to support the business. We strategically define business cases, prioritize projects, and deliver ERP and Commercial projects, ensuring that dependencies are mapped out and sequenced to deliver the overall technology roadmap. Together, we host, manage, and improve a range of technical tools for all aspects of design, business, finance, logistics, global sales, and many other heroes within the organization.If you were the Senior SAP Functional Consultant – Distribution and Transportation, now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:Following documentation, best-practice and change management standards within Arc’teryxCoordinating and executing Change Requests from Process design through Functional Specifications and Implementation, including coordination of resource partners for end-to-end process coverageMaintaining ongoing collaboration with business stakeholders and peers to gather and interpret user/system requirements, pain points and process issuesDeveloping and maintaining prioritization of change requestsLeading stakeholders in detailed business process blueprint activities to create blueprints and use cases/user storiesPreparing detailed functional specifications for development activities including workflows, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and formsExecuting unit testing, functional testing, and system integration testing is completed to Arc’teryx standardsEnsuring 2nd/3rd level support and liaising with key users to troubleshoot and resolve issuesParticipating in the development and review of training materials, and taking part in training delivery where required for new releases of SAP or in cases of changes and enhancements in SAP functionalityMaintaining updated knowledge on SAP best-practices, roadmap and technologies to provide informed architectural and design decisionsHere are some of the things you could be working on in the future:Partnering with other Technology teams to deliver highly cross functional projectsWorking with internal and external partners to deliver new logistics solutions for the businessContributing to the overall development of the SAP Distribution & Transportation roadmapSolving complex problems with peers in SAP to meet continuing developing business needs.Looking for ways to automate and reduce non value added tasksPartnering with our Sourcing, Omnichannel and Finance teams on deliverablesAre you our next Senior SAP Functional Consultant – Distribution and Transportation?You have a relevant university degree or technical diploma and a minimum of 8 year’s related experience in SAP System development and sustainment. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.You have 6+ years of recent experience with distribution and transportation business processes, ideally in the world of retail, wholesale, fashion, footwear or similarYou have 6+ years of functional experience in SAP SD and EWMYou have a background in implementing SAP S4 and/or SAP FMS, SAP AFSYou have knowledge of SAP integration with automated warehouse solutions and 3PLsYou may have experience with SAP GTS or ShipERP as an additional assetYou are an excellent collaborator while also able to work effectively with a teamYou are adaptable and forward thinkingYou are able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlinesYou have excellent written and verbal communication skillsYou are able to travel internationally as requiredYou are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutionsYou remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguityYou are able to balance autonomy and collaborationYou inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvementSalary: CAD$122,000 - CAD$152,000 a yearA reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$122,000 - CAD$152,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.
