Paint Sprayer Newton Aycliffe £ Competitive DOE The Recruitment Bunker are recruiting exclusively for an experienced Paint Sprayer. for a leading automotive company with stunning build workshops based in Newton Aycliffe and Darlington. Our client is experiencing a period of rapid growth having secured a long-term contract for exciting new bespoke hand-built vehicles to widen their existing product range. This role will suite a highly desirable car enthusiast, working for a company of fellow enthusiasts. Situated in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, our North East Site boasts a state-of-the-art production facility spanning 40,000 square feet. Equipped with specialised workshop bays dedicated to assembly, engine work, manufacturing, painting, and bodywork, our facility stands as a testament to our commitment to precision and quality. As we surge ahead, production at our facility is poised for rapid expansion throughout 2024, reflecting our unwavering dedication to growth and innovation. Responsibilities * Paint high end vehicles to a high standard * Preparing the bodywork of the car. Prepare vehicles, apply masking and polish * Observe all health and safety precautions and regulations and make use of all PPE * Prepare paint spraying equipment * Maintaining and cleaning equipment and working areas * Storing paints in the correct conditions * Managing inventory of paints and equipment * Learning and applying Liquid Paint Protection Films in clear and colour format * Masking relevant panels prior to paint. Essential Skills * Must be a confident and highly skilled Paint Sprayer with a minimum of 3 years’ experience working to a high standard of finish * Ability to prep, mask and polish * Be comfortable working on vehicles of high value * Ability to paint vehicles to a high standard * Good understanding of colour, colour matching and characteristics of various coatings and finishes * Must be well organised and have great time management skills * You must hold a full clean UK driver’s license and be willing to meet tight deadlines by working additional hours where required * Must have IDLR/Full Rights to Work in UK - Sponsorship or Work Permits will not be accepted/ provided.
