The role is located in our Berlin office.We are looking for an entrepreneurial, hands-on senior lawyer to provide strategic counsel across the organization and elevate our legal support. This is a unique opportunity to join a successful business with a strong brand and IPO ambitions. The role will include support in all aspects of business law and any inquiries related to transport and (international) commercial law - alongside a team of several business law professionals. You will cover both long-term strategic aspects as well as tackle day-to-day business operations.ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic legal advice to senior management and various departments on diverse legal issuesAssess legal implications of business initiatives, contracts, and policies; oversee and participate in the negotiation, drafting, and review of various commercial agreementsEnsure contracts align with the organization's legal and business objectives, proposing risk mitigation strategiesLead litigation cases, managing external counsel involvementInterface and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including executive management, regulators, courts, government agencies, and external legal counselStay informed about legal developments, industry trends, and regulatory changes impacting the organizationMinimum RequirementsFully qualified lawyer with 4+ years of relevant experience in a law firm or as an in-house counselExperience in international transport and logistics is a plusAbility to work with others and independentlyCritical thinking and multitasking abilityProblem-solving mindsetExcellent communication and coordination skills to interact with all departments across different countries and with external partiesAbility to effectively communicate with senior management and decision-makers within the sennder GroupFluency in English; fluency in German is preferred but not required.
